Tateyama He Stayed #2

At dinner time, they served fresh and tasty sashimi. Well, Terry Mama and Auntie Nobue didn't have much of them.
Who ate the most?
夕食にはこんな新鮮なお刺身盛り合わせも。でもね、おばちゃんもテリーママも殆ど食べてないのよ。
じゃ誰が食べたかって？

You know who.
勿論この方。

Since he has food allergy and can't have most kind of animal meat. We recognized that fish can be good for Terry.
Now he loves sashimi. What a spoiled dog!
He demanded our desert, orange sweets but it contains cream kind that he can't have. So we didn't give him any.
テリー君は食物アレルギーのため、殆どの肉類が食べられません。でも、魚は大丈夫だということが分かりました。
以来お刺身が大好物なのです。しょうもないワンコだわさ！
デザートのオレンジも要求しましたが、アレルギーのあるテリーに、クリームはダメなのであげませんでした。

We enjoyed the scenery of Tateyama.
館山はこんな風景も楽しめます。

You could see Mt Fuji from the deck here if it would be clear  weather. Unfortunately we could not see it.
こちらは天候によっては富士山も見えるのですが、残念ながら見ることはできませんでした。

Besides, you can see Castle Tateyama on the hill.
高台に見えるのは館山城。

It bloomed azaleas at the park there.
ツツジがとても美しい公園になっています。

Beautiful Yaezakura (double petaled cherry) had bloomed also.
八重桜もとても見事に咲いていました。

Tateyama He Stayed #1

Last Spring, we stayed Tateyama, Chiba.　This building is the hotel we have stayed.
There are nice playgrounds for dogs in front of the building. Very convenience.
この春、千葉県館山市に行ってきました。この建物が滞在したホテルです。部屋のすぐ前に犬用の素敵な庭（ドッグラン）があり、とても便利でした。

Terry played around the yard. He looks so happy.
テリー君、さっそく遊びます。とても嬉しそうでした。

Then he became a bit exhausted...
でも、だんだん疲れてきたようです。

OK, take a rest at the shade.
じゃ、日陰で休憩しましょ。

Oh, I can see something over the sea.
おや、海の向こうに見えるのは・・・

That's Mt Fuji. We could see the mountain from Tateyama!
富士山。館山から見えるのね！

It does not mean anything to Terry though. I'm sure he enjoyed himself some how.
テリー君には景色はどうでもいいみたいですけど。楽しく遊びまわっていたのは確かです。

Be A Fashionable Dog

Fashion dog always be a fashionable dresser.
When he goes shopping at Joyful Honda as well.
ファッションドッグはお洒落も手を抜きません。
ジョイフル本田にお買い物に行く時も。

Just going for walk....
お散歩に出かける時も・・・

Meeting with his buddy....
お友達に会う時も・・・

Got back from doggy swimming pool.
He wears bathrobe (for dogs).
ワンコ用プールから帰った時も。
テリー君は、バスローブ（犬用）を着用します。

Aren't they cute?
可愛いでしょ？

Katu-ura Chiba

We went to Katu-ura, Chiba through awesome highway named Umi-hotaru. The name stands for the sea creature named "umi-hotaru."
私たちは海ほたるという素晴らしい高速道路を経由して千葉県の勝浦に行きました。この場所の名前は、海の生物「海ホタル」に由来しています。

We could see beautiful sunset from this place. Unfortunately we could not see Mt Fuji though.
ここからの夕陽も綺麗でした。残念ながら富士山は見えませんでしたが。

We stopped by a hot spot called "Tomiura Biwa Club." These photos are from my second visit there. The cherry blossoms were so pretty then.
話題の富浦枇杷倶楽部にも寄りました。これは２度目の時に撮影したものです。
桜が綺麗でした。

Below one is a view of Katu-ura early morning.
下の写真は早朝の勝浦、里山風景。

We stayed Katu-ura that night.
この日は勝浦にお泊まりでした。

Katu-ura is known as Hina-maturi, however, this place is also famous.
勝浦はひな祭りが有名ですが、この海岸も有名な場所なんです。

A writer of children's song got some inspirations here and composed "Tsuki no sabaku (it means a moon above the desert)."
Oh, Terry. You guys stand by the back side of the statues.
童謡「月の沙漠」の作詩者がこの場所でインスピレーションを受けたのだとか。
おっと、テリー君。銅像が後ろ向いてますよ。

The couples out going the desert surely have a certain air....
確かに、砂漠を行くお二人の雰囲気がいい感じですな。

There is a monument of the song near by the statues.
記念碑も近くにありました。

Mishaka-ike Pond

I went to Mishaka-ike pond in June. Its water is clear and the reflection is like a mirror.
６月に長野県の御鹿射池に行きました。ここの透明な水は鏡の様に景色を映します。

It is told that the scenery was given some inspirations to a famous painter, Kaii Higashiyama's artwork.
この景色は、著名な画家、東山魁夷の作品を生むきっかけとなったそうです。

I use his artwork from an internet site.
画像は、東山魁夷の作品画像をインターネットより利用しました。

I've learned that autumn is another beautiful season to visit. I'm thinking of going there again.
ここは秋の景色も素晴らしいそうです。また行こうと考えています。

エッグス＆シングスで食べたブルーベリーパンケーキ。

Lovely rasberry sweets at Ichirin.
Ichirinで食べた可愛いラズベリーのスイーツ。

Artistic sushi in Chiba.
千葉で食べた芸術的なお寿司。

Sushi lunch at a sushi bar.
お寿司屋さんのカウンターでの昼食。

They had such tiny garden called "Tsubo-niwa."
坪庭がお洒落だわ。

His First Visit Umi-Hotaru

We went to Chiba through Umi-Horaru, a parking area for highway drivers.
It looks like a huge ship, doesn't it?
海ほたるを経由して千葉へ行きました。
大きな船みたいでしょ？

Here are Terry and his mama. The sign says, "Umi-hotaru."
テリー君とテリーママです。看板には「海ほたる」と書いてあります。

The view of Tokyo bay. You can see Tokyo and Kawasaki area over there.
If it's fine cleard day, you can see Mt Fuji on this direction.
Too bad, we could not make it.
東京湾の眺め。向こう岸に東京や川崎方面が見渡せます。
天気が良ければ、この方向に富士山が見えるのですが。
残念ながらこの日は拝めませんでした。

This huge ornament is the cutter that was used for drilling under the ground.
This is how they got through the tunnel under the sea.
この巨大な展示物は地下を掘るのに使われたカッターです。
これを使って地下にトンネルを掘ったのです。

We got such cute shushi on the way to go. They were good.
途中でこんな可愛い寿司を買いました。美味しかったです。
