Yebisu beer is my favorite kind. Now they have these ones below. The white one named
"Silk" is not available by now.
エビスビールは私好みのビール。今は下の3種類が出ています。白い「シルク」は今はありません。

Cherry blossom season will be very soon. So these ones are go well with "Hanami Bento
(packed lunch in the box)."

His Sleeping Face

How adorable when he's sleeping!
寝顔の可愛さは天下一なり！

It is called "O-ya-baka" in Japan. It means "doting parents' partiality."
日本ではそれを「親バカ」と言います。

The Orange Tree's Problem

I didn't realized it for a long while. We were suffered from that heavy snow.
ずっと気付かなかったのですが、大雪の影響がこんな所に。

Terry Mama has taken care of the orange tree but it went as above. She was so shocked by it.
蜜柑の面倒を見ていたテリーママは大ショックです。

A Horse Racing Course

I used to live in this city. There is a horse racing course in this city. I just visited there for the first time in many years.
以前住んでいた街にある競馬場。随分久しぶりに訪ねてみました。

At the small museum, there is a horse (replica) also.
小さな博物館もあって、午の模型が展示されています。

Reached a nice house. They serve you green tea though. It has done when I got there. Too bad!
こんな素敵なお家に辿り着きます。ここでお茶を点ててくれるのですが、私が行ったときは既に終了していました。残念!

His Red Shoes

His red shoes are not only for snowy day. It's useful for chilly day also.

Witch's Fingers?

Are they Witch's fingers?

Nope. They are sweets that Terry Mama made.
いいえ、テリーママが作ったお菓子です。

Chocolate and Orange go together well. Yum, yum!
チョコレートとオレンジが調和して、美味しいわ～！

His Diaper Again #2

Poor boy, Terry. He had a diaper again and again.
可哀相なテリー君。何度も、おむつ姿になってしまって。

Sometimes it came off easily so Terry Mama put tape on it.
おむつが脱げてしまう時もあって、テリーママがそれをテープで留めておきました。

In his worst condition, he went to his vet twice in a day.
Now he is fine. So Don't worry.
最悪の時は一日に2回も獣医さんに行きました。
今はもう良くなっているので心配いりません。

According to his vet, it all may caused from Terry's food allergy. Now he has different food as before and things seems fine. Hope it goes on.
獣医さんによれば、今回の症状はテリー君の食物アレルギーが主な原因のようです。ご飯の種類を変えてみて、今のところ大丈夫そうです。このままで行って欲しいです。

His Diaper Again #1

Terry has got diarrhea again so he wear a diaper. Poor boy, terry. He became better just a while ago though.
せっかく良くなったと思ったのに、またもやおむつ姿になってしまったテリー君。

Terry Mama also makes his belly warm.
テリーママが、お腹も冷やさないよう工夫しました。

Views or Taste 2014 Early Spring

Spring is just around the corner and you can enjoy brilliant spring colors by now.

Emma （絵馬）

You may see this kind of plate, Emma, at a shrine. It's available year around though, I guess it gets the most in March. Why? Because it's time for the school entrance exam season.
People write their wishes and hang it there.
神社にはこのように絵馬を掲げるところがあります。これは１年中ありますが、３月に掲げられているのが特に多いように思います。多分受験の時期と重なるからだと思います。
この板に願い事を書いてこの場所に掲げます。

These are for women who are expecting babies. They wish healthy and safe childbirth. After all, they offer votive dipper with a hole on the bottom at the Shinto shrine.
Imagine the water leakage. It reminds us of feeding children with mother's milk.
こちらは、子供を授かった母親用。無事に生まれますようにと願い、生まれた後にお礼として底に穴の開いた柄杓を納めます。それは赤ちゃんにあげる母乳が出る様子を連想させますね。

3 Years Since "311"

It's been 3 years since the horrible earthquake on "311". They work hard for restoring but it is still in midway. There was a charity chair in my area and I purchased some products for my very little help. Hope things will be much more better soon.
あの未曾有の大地震から３年。みな頑張ってはいるだろうけど、まだまだ復興には遠い。
私の地域でチャリティーフェアーがあり、こんなものを購入しました。ほんのちょっとだけれど、少しでも助けになればいいな。

Tomatoes are Fukushima products. Others are Miyagi ones.
トマトは福島産。その他は宮城産です。

Sake Brewery Cafe

I went to a cafe that used to be a sake brewery. They have very special beverage there. It is made from sake lees.
あるカフェに行きました。ここはかつて酒蔵だったところ。こちらには特製の酒粕から作った飲み物があります。

According to them, add some ginger will make the taste better. So I tried. Yes, it was good.
お店の方のよれば、生姜パウダーを加えると味が引き立つとか。で、さっそく試してみましたら、その通りでした。

This part remain the brewery in those days.
かつて酒蔵だった名残が見うけられます。

Flower Bouquet

I bought flower bouquet for my parents. My mother liked flowers.
両親のために、こんな花を買いました。母は花が大好きでした。

I guess she liked it.
婆ちゃん（母）、気に入ってくれたかな？

His Fashion Accessories #2

His stylish way of dressing.. Yes, he is genuine fashion dog.
腹巻きも着こなすファッションドッグのテリー君。

Terry has the taste of a real presence. He looked grand in his costume!(Really?)

His Fashion Accessories #1

Since Terry has had digestion trouble, Terry Mama thought of his condition and decided to protect his abdomen from the chill. She gave him a stomach band.
Oh well, it reminds me of something.... something for old man's gear....
お腹を壊したテリー君のお腹が冷えるのを予防するために、テリーママは腹巻きをさせることにしました。
でもこれ、何だかオヤジっぽくない？

Look at his appearance!
It surely reminds me of "typical and particular old man of something (in Japan)"
しかもこのスタイル・・・・
まさに「テキ屋」のおやじ・・・

He is the fashion icon as you know, he should be dressed to effect in.....
So he wear "accessories" as the trend fashion.
ファッションリーダーとしてはこれも着こなさなくては・・・
そこでファッション性を高めるために「アクセサリー」を追加しました。

Hey, Auntie Nobue and Mama. You guys use me as "toy", don't you?
ねえ、おばちゃん。ママと結託して僕をオモチャにしてない？

Now he surely be "a toy dog."
確かに「オモチャ犬」になってますな。
