There are beautiful rose garden in Verny Park in Yokosuka. The name of Verny stands for a French design engineer, Francois Leonce Verny. He designed facilities and installations of Yokosuka bay area.
横須賀の美しいバラ園もあるベルニー公園。名前の由来は、フランス人技術者、フランソワ・レオンス・ベルニー氏に由来するそうです。横須賀港の施設設立などを手がけたそうです。
The roses have beautiful names but I don't remember which is which, what is what.....
Anyway, you can see Maritime Self-Defense ships over there.
バラには、それぞれ美しい名前があるのですが、どれが何だったか覚えていません。
向こうには海上自衛隊の船が見えます。
They have a ship cruise available but I didn't have enough time to go for.
湾内を巡るクルーズ船もありましたが、時間がなくて乗船できませんでした。
I saw a submarine.
潜水艦もありました。
Another submarine.
別の潜水艦。
I was the sign "Shirase" on the ship that might be for the Antarctic Expedition.
「しらせ」と書いてある船。南極観測船でしょうかね。
The ship next to "Shirase" must be the Maritime Self-Defense Force ship.
「しらせ」の隣の、こちらは海上自衛隊の船ですね。
Before I went back home, I had my supper at "Farmer's Kitchen."
帰宅前に空腹を満たすべく「農家の台所」で夕食を。
It was a great day with lots of fun.
盛りだくさんで疲れたけど、楽しい一日でした。
