I went to see cherry blossoms in Lake Okutama. Now is the peak season there.
奥多摩湖の桜を見に行ってきました。今がちょうど見頃です。
When they talk about the cherry blossoms, mostly it's about Somei-yoshino kind. But we have many more different kinds. Oh well, I can't tell the details though.
桜というと、ソメイヨシノを話題にする場合が多いですが、桜には色々種類があります。まあ、私は違いを詳しく述べることが出来ませんが。
Anyway, the snow is remaining still and it made me surprised.
それにしても、雪がまだ残っていてビックリでした。
You can go up to the top of the hill. In fact some people walked around there.
Me? No way!
こちらの丘は頂上まで登ることが出来ます。実際何人かの人が歩いているのを見かけました。
私？無理です!
