Some Sweets I Have Had Lately

These are the ones I have had lately.
At Denny's. Limited time menu.
最近食べた物あれこれです。
デニーズの期間限定パフェ。

At Denny's. Regular menu.
こちらはデニーズのチョコパフェ。通常メニューの品です。

Senbikiya Kyobashi's charity one. 10 percent of its retail price will be donated.
千疋屋の期間限定チャリティーパフェ。金額の10％が復興支援に寄付されるそうです。

At Gust... may be.
たぶんガストのもの。

I don't remember where.
どこだったか覚えてない。

At Royal Host.
これはロイヤルホストで。

They were all great.
全部美味しかったよ。

His Eel

This is his eel.
これはあの方のウナギです。

Whose eel? You know who...
誰のウナギかって？それはもう、ご存知の・・・

Yes, it's his eel.
そう、この方のですわ。

He plays his favorite one as you know.
大好きな「ウーごっこ」して遊んでます。

He really likes to play with the toys.... as you know.
オモチャで遊ぶのが大好きなテリー君・・もうご存知の通りですね。

Hina-Dolls Festival In Katori City

In March, there are many Hina-Dolls festivals.This one was displayed at Keio Plaza Hotel in Shinjuku.
3月はあちこちでひな祭りが開催されます。こちらは新宿の京王プラザホテルに展示されていたものです。

These hanging ornaments are called "Tusrushibina."
つる下がっているこれらの飾りを「つるし雛」といいます。

On the other hand, this is very unique and cute one. It was held at Katori city in Chiba.
一方、こちら千葉県香取市ではとてもユニークで可愛いお祭りが開催されました。

You see some boat on the river. Guess what will happen?
沢山の船が係留されていますね。何が始まると思いますか?

Oh, some girls and a mascot on the boat has come.
あら、女の子たちとゆるキャラの乗った船が来ましたよ。

This event is named "Sawara Hina Meguri."
これは「さわら雛めぐり」というお祭りだそうです。

People wore Hina-Doll costume and rode on the boat.
人々は雛人形の装束で舟に乗っています。

I don't know the details of this event so I can't tell so many though.
この行事の詳しい経緯を知らないので、これ以上お話しできません。

I just enjoyed many of these beautiful scene.
ただこの美しい風景を楽しみました。

They played Japanese old traditional instruments also. They played elegant music.
日本の伝統的楽器の演奏もありました。優雅な音楽を奏でます。

And cute girls!!
そして、こんな可愛い少女たち!!

It was a lovely Hina-Doll festival to me.
楽しいひな祭りでした。

Free Movie Tickets

I won free movie tickets by sweepstake. It'll be released tomorrow, March 21st.
When do I go? Mmmm....
映画の無料券が懸賞で当たりました。明日、3月21日から公開です。
いつ見に行こうかな？う～ん・・・

Hanazono-manju

This is Hanazono-manju, Japanese traditional sweets.
こちらは花園饅頭。日本の伝統的お菓子の一つです。

I know that they made it with highest quality ingredients though. These tiny 6 pieces cost almost 2,500 yen (about $25).
What do you think?
It has to be?
最高の素材を用いて作っているのは分かっているけど、これだけ（6個）で2500円近くするって言うのは、どうなの？
仕方ないのかな・・

Bigfoot Cutlet Burger

They said it's "Waraji (bigfoot)" cutlet burger though. It doesn't look such big one anyway.
これを「わらじカツ」というけれど、どう見てもそんなに大きくは見えないんですけど。

Elf's "bigfoot"???
エルフ（小妖精）の「わらじ」かね？？

Gundam Base At Diver City Tokyo

It's Gundam statue. This time I took it from different angle as before.
ガンダムの像。今回は以前と違うアングルから撮ってみました。

Anyway, let's tour around Diver City Tokyo.
まあとにかく、ダイバーシティ東京を巡ってみましょう。

Let's get into the building. There is "The Gundam Base" on top floor. They have lots of plastic model of Gundam figure.
建物の中に入ります。最上階にガンダムベース東京という場所があります。そこには数々のガンダムのプラモデルが展示されています。

I didn't know there are so many kinds available.
随分沢山の種類があるのね。

According to them, there was held a big event a couple of weeks ago. They still display many of them at the hallway.
少し前には大きなイベントの展示会があったそうで、それらの一部を展示してあるらしいです。

These are the parts of the plastic models. You may realize that so many parts are necessary to complete one model.
こちらは、プラモデルを組み立てるためのパーツの数々。とても沢山のパーツが使われていることがわかります。

Before I leave this place, I got some sweets named "Nin-gyo-yaki."
Gundam shaped ones are so cute.
この場所、ダイバーシティ東京を去る前に、お土産に「人形焼き」も購入しました。
ガンダムの形をした可愛い人形焼きです。

These ones below are in the box.
中身はこんな感じです。

Yum, yum.
美味しいよ。

Fortnum & Mason Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi, My Lucky Spot

I had a meeting at Nihonbashi. When it has done, I wanted to have a break. So I stopped by this place, Fortnum & Mason Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi.
I had scone and tea. You can choose tea leaves and I picked "Queen Anne". It was comfortable moment for me.
日本橋で会合がありました。会の終了後に休憩がしたくなりまして、こちら、日本橋三越のフォートナムメイソンに立ち寄る事にしました。
さっそくスコーンと紅茶を。紅茶は選べるので、クイーンアンを頂きました。
とても快適な時を過ごしました。

Then I headed to the subway station.
To my surprise, the train was not in service till my arrival. Soon after I got to the plathome, there was an announcement that said;
"We've just resumed operation. The train will come very soon."
Because of a passenger's injury, they were not in service for a while.
そして地下鉄の駅へと向かいました。
驚いたことに、私が到着したときは電車は運休中だったのです。ホームに入るとすぐアナウンスが。
「ただいまより運転を再開いたします。列車は間もなくまいります。」
人身事故のため、しばらくの間、運転休止だったようです。

I didn't know it at all. What an incredible timing!
I thank Fortnum & Mason that gave me such comfortable "waiting" time without knowing it.
私はこのことを全く知りませんでした。何というタイミングでしょう！
知らず知らずのうちに快適な「待ち時間」を提供してくれたフォートナムメイソンに感謝です！
  
The other day, I went there again. Since it becomes lucky spot for me.
I had "Afternoon Tea" this time. I picked Orange pekoe.
Also you can choose two kinds of cakes from the plate the would show you. Then they displayed all of them on the three layered plates as below.
別の日に再びここに立ち寄りました。何しろ私にとってはラッキースポットですから。
今回はアフタヌーンティーを頂きました。店側から示される、プレートに乗ったケーキの中から好きな物を2個選ぶと、下の写真のように3段のプレートで運ばれてきます。

I enjoyed myself so much. I want to come again some other time.
とても素敵な時を過ごしました。是非また行きたいです。
