Cassiopeia Ride #1

Ueno station at JR line, plat-home #13. There is a train coming..
上野駅13番線ホームに入線している列車は・・

This is the train I wanted to ride for a long while. Now I made it to ride Cassiopeia!
以前から乗りたいと思っていたこの列車。念願が叶ってカシオペア乗車の実現です！

This is the nice view compartment. It is available only one room. It was sold by drawing lots. They charged 350,000 yen (about $3500) per person though. There was the high competition rate. I didn't enter the competition at all anyway.
こちらは展望個室。1室のみで、抽選販売でした。1人当たり35万円もするというのに、競争率高かったそうです。私は応募しませんでしたけど。

こっそり中を覗いちゃいました。

Well, it's time to leave so I got into the train.
さて、出発時刻となりまして、列車に乗り込みます。

室内はこんな感じです。

This is the entrance door.
入り口はこんな風になってます。

There is a TV set also. You can watch a movie or news show. Besides, it has a navigation system and you can see where you are.
TVもありまして、映画やニュースが見られますが、ナビシステムで現在位置も把握できます。

This is the view from the window.
窓からの風景です。

There is a toilet in the room...
室内にトイレも完備していて・・

When I opened a hatch on the wall...
壁面の扉を開けると・・・

The washstand appeared.
洗面台が出現します。

There is something behind the mirror...
鏡の裏側には・・

Toothbrush, tooth paste and paper cups were there.
歯ブラシ・歯磨き・コップが。

Then pull the seat forward and put the sheet on it...
シートを引き出し、シーツを敷いて・・

And put comforter on it. Then the bed is ready.
布団を掛ければベッドの完成です。

There was face towel too. You can also use night gown if you want to.
フェイスタオルとガウンも利用できます。

This is the alley.
室外の通路はこんな感じです。
