Hawaiian Lunch At La Ohhana

 
I had lunch meeting at La Ohana with my friend. It's Hawaiian style dining.
First, I had fruits tea.
友人とラ・オハナでランチしました。ここはハワイアンスタイルのレストランです。
まずはフルーツティーを注文です。

Then I had garlic shrimp and rice.
そして私はガーリックシュリンプライスを頂きました。

                          
It was good.
美味しかったです。

Don't forget the desert. I had cheesecake. 
そして勿論、デザートも忘れません。
今回はチーズケーキです。

                  
My friend had gorgeous pancakes. I took a photo of her one but it went out of focus. There is no photo for.
May be I will have the one some time and will take photo for it.  
友人は豪華なパンケーキを注文しました。写真を撮らせてもらったのですが、残念ながらポンボケ。なので、写真はありません。
今度自分で注文して写真を撮ろうかと思ってます。

Eggs benedict at Sara Beth.
サラベスのエッグスベネディクト。

Another Eggs Benedict at Takakura-machi Coffee. They don't have this one recently.
高倉町珈琲のエッグスベネディクト。最近のメニューには無いみたいです。

At Takakura-machi Coffee, I had Ricotta cheese pancakes as my branch. 
高倉町珈琲で食べたブランチ。リコッタチーズのパンケーキ。

I need desert after the lunch... as you know.
ランチの後はやはりデザートが必要です。

They were all great. I want to come back.
全部美味しかったよ。また行きたいね。

About My Lunch And More

This one below is chicken meat hamburg steak Japanese style set menu.
ランチの写真あれこれ。
こちらは鶏肉ハンバーグ定食。

The next one is pork cutlet topped with simmered eggs Japanese style set menu.
お次はカツ煮定食。（かつ丼ではない）

The last one is pork cutlet with ton-katu sauce Japanese style set menu. 
そしてとんかつ定食。

Anyway, it took so far long to upload this.
My old PC had broken down but they couldn't fix it.
Why?
Because of Covid-19 matter, the supplier could NOT get any parts for repairs for over 3 months.
Oh well, there are more stories. 
まあとにかく、この記事をアップするのにずいぶん時間がかかってしまいました。
パソコンが壊れてしまったのに修理できなかったのです。
何故か？
コロナのせいで修理用部品が３か月以上も入手できなくなってしまったのです。
しかしながらまだ続きがあります。

After all, they fix my PC though. It went down again. I sent it back to the lab but it went down again in 2 weeks. Then same things happened again and again for several times.
Although they didn't charge extra labor fee, I was really mad about this stupid routine.  
やっとのことで修理が終了したのに、2週間後に再び壊れてしまいました。当然送り返して再度修理です。しかもその繰り返しが何度も何度も。当然追加料金はかかりませんが、もう我慢の限界です。

I told them that I no longer wait for such repairs.
I gave up the old one and bought a brand new PC. Ah, I paid a lot!!
このPCは見限って、もう修理はしないと通告し、新しいPCを購入することにしたのです。
あ～、金が飛んでいく！！

So I upload this post from my new PC.

Dine At Nada-man Nihonbashi

This is very old one though. I guess I dined here about a year ago.
Anyway, I had my lunch at Nada-man Nihonbashi.
It was reasonable price when I think of its quality.
Here's appetizer.
とても古い話です。たぶん、1年くらい前のこと。
まあとにかく、日本橋の「なだ万」で昼食をとりました。
その品質を思うと、とてもお得なお値段でした。
まずは前菜。

Then the main dish came.
そしてメインが運ばれてきました。

It included dessert, of course.
Plum jello kind.
もちろん、デザートも付いてました。
梅風味のゼリーでした。

I want to have this kind again. Hope I can go there soon.
こういうのを、また食べたいな。早く行かれるようにならないかな。

Homemade Pot-stickers

I didn't take any more photo of its process. I should have done...
Anyway, I cooked them all... include pot-sticker shell.

Lunch At TGI Friday Yokohama

It went out of focus though, I had lunch at TGI Friday Yokohama.
ピンボケになっちゃったけど、TGIフライデー横浜で昼食とりました。

I ordered onion rings also. It's one of my favorite dish.
もちろんオニオンリングも注文。お気に入りの一品です。

I wish I could show more photos but... the cellphone camera didn't work as I expected. I may need more practice...
もっと写真を載せたかったけど、カメラがうまく機能しなくて・・携帯のカメラ、もっと練習しないとなのかな・・

My Mealtime Lately

Salmon and avocado with rice. It looks like salmon salad though. There is rice underneath.
サーモンとアボガド丼。サラダみたいだけど、その下にご飯が隠れています。

何処で食べたか忘れちゃった。

Traditional Vegetable Curry Of Imperial Hotel

I had curry and rice at Imperial Hotel. According to them, it's their traditional curry. So I tried.
帝国ホテルでカレーライスを頂きました。このホテルの伝統的カレーだそうです。。

After the salad, "the Traditional Vegetable Curry" came. The rice was fully covered with vegetables. The taste was rather mild. It's good for me because I don't like too spicy hot kind. It's just fit on me.
サラダに続いて出てきたのは、「伝統の野菜カレー。」野菜に隠れてご飯が見えません。
味はマイルドで、あまり辛いのは好みでない私に、丁度良い辛さでした。

I had them with elegant manners. "It was very delicious and I really enjoyed."
品よく、美味しく頂きました。「大変美味しゅうございました。」

Tour to Mt Fuji Area With Gorgeous Bus

I joined a tour to Maple Corridor. It included to see "Diamond Fuji (You may see the sun set on top of the mountain)"  but we had to give up the view since it wasn't fine clear day. In a short while I could see the mountain and I took some photos somehow.
河口湖の紅葉回廊などを巡るツアーに参加しました。
本当は山中湖でダイヤモンド富士を見る予定でしたが、あいにくの天気で断念せざるを得ませんでした。食事時にほんの一瞬、富士山が見えたので、急いで写真に撮りました。

I got on the gorgeous bus again. Yes, it has leather seats. It also has tablet to use for each passenger.
あの豪華バス利用です。勿論、座席は革張り。乗客一人一人が利用できるタブレットが装備されています。

The leaves are changing their colors though...
紅葉は綺麗に色づいているところもありますが・・

Maple Corridor stays green color at all.
紅葉回廊は、ほぼ緑色。

By the time, I could not see Mt Fuji.
富士山見えなくなっちゃったし。

You can see the nice view of Mt Fuji from this point though...
本来なら紅葉の向こうに富士山が見えるのだけれど・・・

I found beautiful red along the road on the way to.
途中の道路沿いに紅葉しているのもありましたけどね。

If it was a fine weather, we could see beautiful Mt Fuji from here. We couldn't make it. Too bad!
天気が良ければ、ここから富士山が綺麗に見えるのだけど、残念！

Anyway, it's lunch time. We dined at Lake Hotel by the Lake Kawaguchi. If it's fine weather, you can see great view of Mt Fuji.
とにかく、お食事にしましょう。富士山も見える、河口湖畔にあるレイクホテルで昼食です。

I don't like my new cellphone camera as I told you before. It doesn't work well.
ホント、今度の携帯カメラ嫌い。役に立たないんだもの。

I don't remember the details of dishes though. This one tasted good.
料理の詳細忘れちゃったけど、これは美味しかった。

This one went out focus again. I think it was grilled chicken.
これはポンボケになっちゃった。確か鶏肉だったと思う。

The dessert was pumpkin pudding. It was very good.
デザートはかぼちゃプリン。これは美味しかった。

Just a short while, we could see Mt Fuji from the restaurant.
ほんのわずかな間見えていた富士山です。

At first, our plan was to see "Diamond Fuji (sunset on top of Mt Fuji)" in Lake Yamanaka but we couldn't. So we headed to Mt Fuji Radar Doom Museum. They display the radar that was used by a weather observation on top of Mt Fuji. After they introduced weather satellite, the radar ended its mission and displayed this museum.
山中湖でダイヤモンドを見ることが出来ないので、代わりに富士山レーダードーム館に。
かつて富士山頂にあった気象レーダーが、気象衛星打ち上げによってその役割を終え、ここに展示されているのです。

You can experience temperature of minors 30 Celsius degree and wind condition of those days Radar Doom. It's just about 5 minutes though, it's so cold. So you can borrow a jacket. I tried, of course. Yes, it was very very cold.
ここでは、当時の富士山気象台の気候を体験できます。マイナス30度の中、吹き付ける風を約5分間体験できます。5分間と言えど、とても寒いので、ジャケットを借りることもできます。
私も中に入ってみましたが、それはそれは寒い一瞬でしたよ。

They also display a diorama to know how the things went on in those days.
かつて富士山頂で、このように設置されていた様子が模型で示されています。

You can see the real radar here. It moves the same way as those days.
実物のレーダーはこちらで、展示用に動いています。

At the entrance lobby, I saw such cute tree. All these ornaments were hand maded by volunteers. The small pond you see beside the tree is sort of like a mirror that show Mt Fuji. But it was not on that day .
ロビーにこんなツリーがありました。沢山のボランティアが一つ一つ手作りした人形だそうです。手前に見える池は、天気が良ければ富士山が映るようですが、この日は見ることが出来ませんでした。

Each doll has different lovely face .
それぞれ表情が違っていて、可愛いです。

I know I should come again.
また来ないとだね。
