Hawaiian Lunch At La Ohhana

 
I had lunch meeting at La Ohana with my friend. It's Hawaiian style dining.
First, I had fruits tea.
友人とラ・オハナでランチしました。ここはハワイアンスタイルのレストランです。
まずはフルーツティーを注文です。

Then I had garlic shrimp and rice.
そして私はガーリックシュリンプライスを頂きました。

                          
It was good.
美味しかったです。

Don't forget the desert. I had cheesecake. 
そして勿論、デザートも忘れません。
今回はチーズケーキです。

                  
My friend had gorgeous pancakes. I took a photo of her one but it went out of focus. There is no photo for.
May be I will have the one some time and will take photo for it.  
友人は豪華なパンケーキを注文しました。写真を撮らせてもらったのですが、残念ながらポンボケ。なので、写真はありません。
今度自分で注文して写真を撮ろうかと思ってます。

Lunch And Branch Around My Area

Italian lunch at La La Port Tachikawa.
The photo went out of focus though.
ららぽーと立川のイタリアン。
ピント合ってないけど。

Eggs benedict at Sara Beth.
サラベスのエッグスベネディクト。

Another Eggs Benedict at Takakura-machi Coffee. They don't have this one recently.
高倉町珈琲のエッグスベネディクト。最近のメニューには無いみたいです。

At Takakura-machi Coffee, I had Ricotta cheese pancakes as my branch. 
高倉町珈琲で食べたブランチ。リコッタチーズのパンケーキ。

I need desert after the lunch... as you know.
ランチの後はやはりデザートが必要です。

They were all great. I want to come back.
全部美味しかったよ。また行きたいね。

Dine At Nada-man Nihonbashi

This is very old one though. I guess I dined here about a year ago.
Anyway, I had my lunch at Nada-man Nihonbashi.
It was reasonable price when I think of its quality.
Here's appetizer.
とても古い話です。たぶん、1年くらい前のこと。
まあとにかく、日本橋の「なだ万」で昼食をとりました。
その品質を思うと、とてもお得なお値段でした。
まずは前菜。

Then the main dish came.
そしてメインが運ばれてきました。

It included dessert, of course.
Plum jello kind.
もちろん、デザートも付いてました。
梅風味のゼリーでした。

I want to have this kind again. Hope I can go there soon.
こういうのを、また食べたいな。早く行かれるようにならないかな。

Lunch At TGI Friday Yokohama

It went out of focus though, I had lunch at TGI Friday Yokohama.
ピンボケになっちゃったけど、TGIフライデー横浜で昼食とりました。

I ordered onion rings also. It's one of my favorite dish.
もちろんオニオンリングも注文。お気に入りの一品です。

I wish I could show more photos but... the cellphone camera didn't work as I expected. I may need more practice...
もっと写真を載せたかったけど、カメラがうまく機能しなくて・・携帯のカメラ、もっと練習しないとなのかな・・

Traditional Vegetable Curry Of Imperial Hotel

I had curry and rice at Imperial Hotel. According to them, it's their traditional curry. So I tried.
帝国ホテルでカレーライスを頂きました。このホテルの伝統的カレーだそうです。。

After the salad, "the Traditional Vegetable Curry" came. The rice was fully covered with vegetables. The taste was rather mild. It's good for me because I don't like too spicy hot kind. It's just fit on me.
サラダに続いて出てきたのは、「伝統の野菜カレー。」野菜に隠れてご飯が見えません。
味はマイルドで、あまり辛いのは好みでない私に、丁度良い辛さでした。

I had them with elegant manners. "It was very delicious and I really enjoyed."
品よく、美味しく頂きました。「大変美味しゅうございました。」

Fabulous Sushi Restaurant

It's an old event though, I had sushi at the counter! (It means very pricey.)
This is gorgeous to me though. It has more.
古い話なんですけど、カウンターで回らないお寿司を頂きました！
それだけでも私には凄い事なのですが、このお店はさらに凄いことが有ります。

The sushi cook is so skillful. But they have much more. What is...
寿司職人さんの腕前はもちろんですが、何が凄いかって・・

Actually, this sushi restaurant is known as the one where Her Majesty Empress Masako had come when she worked for the Foreign Ministry.
I enjoyed their sushi as if I was an noble person... (Lol)
皇后さまが外務省勤務時代にいらした事があるお店なんです。
高尚な身分の気分でお寿司を頂きましたよ。（笑）

Dine At Armani

I dined at Armani a few days before my birthday. It's sort of my birthday dinner.
自分の誕生日の数日前に、アルマーニでお食事を。つまりバースディディナーですね。

Since it's Italian cuisine, it's massive!
The gratin as an hors d'oeuvre. Egg plant, potato parmigiana.
イタリアンのオードブルはボリューム満点。いきなりグラタンが出てきましたよ。茄子とジャガイモのパルミジャーノグラタン。

The second dish was lobster risotto with black garlic. This one was also heavy.
次はオマールエビのリゾット、黒ニンニクの香り。これもかなり強力。

Then we had fish. Sauteed grouper, Bottarga lemon cream and black cabbage.
これはお魚の料理。ハタのオーブン焼き。レモンとボッタルガのクレマ黒キャベツ添え。

Lamb, black cabbage, mushrooms and farro. It tasted mild and I liked it a lot.
子羊のロースト。黒キャベツ、スペルト小麦、大黒シメジ、マスタードソース。クセが無くてとても美味しかったです。

Tiramisu ad our dessert. I think it's must have one for Italian dish.
ティラミスはイタリアンには必須ですよね。

Italian coffee with pettit fours. I was thinking of espresso though. They said that it's very strong coffee so I had regular one instead.
コーヒーと共にビスコッティとチョコレートも。本当はエスプレッソにしようかと思ったのですが、強めのコーヒーと言う事で、普通のものにしました。

Oh well, I get older on my B-day....
誕生日で、また一つ年取っちゃったよ・・・

Restaurant Count Ogasawasa Residents

I had Spanish cuisine at the restaurant Count Ogasawara Residents. Originally it was the resident of Count Ogasawara. Then it became a Spanish restaurant and they left the name for the restaurant. 
I wanted to visit there for a long time and I could make it at last!
小笠原伯爵邸で念願のスペイン料理を堪能しました。かつては小笠原伯爵のお住まいでしたが、スペイン料理のレストランとなり、そこに伯爵の名を残したのです。
ここはずっと行きたかった所で、やっと念願叶いました。

The photo below used to be a dining room. According to them, the table remains the same one as those days.
こちらは、かつてダイニングルームとして使用されていた部屋です。テーブルも当時、実際に使われていたものだそうです。

This room used to be a smoking room. In those days, Count Ogasawara enjoyed smoking with his guests in this room.
こちらは喫煙室。小笠原伯爵が、この場所で煙草の煙と共に来客たちと語らいの時を過ごしたようです。

We sat at the seat and were waiting for our dish to come.
さて、テーブルについた私たちは、お料理が運ばれて来るのを待ちます。

I got  a new phone just before this event. Unfortunately its new camera didn't work as I expected... or I should say I didn't get used to.. Anyway, the photos weren't good enough to show all dishes however, this is the appetizer.
新しい携帯カメラの操作に不慣れのため、いまいちの画像もあり、料理全部は紹介できませんが、こちらが前菜です。

Spanish typical cuisine, gazpacho.
ガスパチョ。

Sort of like risotto. They use rice in it.
お米を使った料理。リゾットに似ています。

Grilled fish. They use Sherry (Vino de Xerez)  for its sauce base. It tasted very Spanish to me.
お魚のグリル。ソースが独特で、スペインらしくシェリー酒をベースに使っているそうです。

After the meal, they showed us around the building.
食事の後は建物を案内していただきました。

This is roof top garden.
屋上の様子です。

This original stained glass remains the same since then. It shows the history of the building.
オリジナルのステンドグラスは、当時のままだそうで、建物の歴史を感じます。

The view from roof top. The lot size of the land used to be 66000 square meters though. Now it's about 3300 square meters. 
屋上から眺めた庭の様子。敷地面積はかつて約20,000坪あったそうですが、現在は約1,000坪程だそうです。

This Spanish taste was those days forefront one.
スペイン風の建物が当時最先端だったそうです。

According to them, you can have a party at the garden if you want to.
お店の方によれば、庭でパーティを行う事も可能だそうです。

I had such gorgeous day.
豪華な一日を過ごしました。

Ride On A Gorgeous Bus

I joined a tour and went to Yatugatake with this gorgeous tour bus.
豪華なバスで八ヶ岳クラブに行きました。

This is the inside of the bus. The seats are fabulous also.
バス内部。豪華な座席です。

It has a counter bar kind on its far back. They prepare the beverages for the passengers.
最後部にあるカウンター。ここで乗客への飲み物を準備します。

We dined at a nice restaurant, Le Pionnier.

こちらの素敵なレストラン、ルピオニエでお食事でした。

Since I got a new phone and I could not make it well for photos with the new machine. Some photos became out of focus so I can't show you all of what I have had. Therefore, you see the ones of salad and main dish only.
食事をしたレストラン、ルピオニエの料理の一部です。こちらは、サラダとメインの肉料理の画像。携帯を機種変更したばかりで、カメラ操作が上手く行きませんでした。それ故、ほかの画像は上手く撮れず、これだけになってしまいました。

Anyway, we moved to Seisen-ryo after the meal. It was over 30 years when I have visited there for the first time.
その後、清泉寮に移動しました。最初にここを訪問したのは30年以上前の事です。

The view seems the same as before to me.
景色は以前と変わらずな感じでした。

They displayed the tractor for some reason. So I took the photo of it anyway.
トラクターが展示されていたので、写真を撮ってみました。

Then we moved another spot, Yatsugatake Club. I wanted to visit there so far long. At last I made it!  They have a craft workshop. They exhibit their crafts for "Tableware Festival" in Tokyo Dome every year.
そして、ずっと行きたかった八ヶ岳クラブを訪問です。こちらの工房の作品は、東京ドームで毎年開催される、テーブルウエアフェスティバルに出品されているそうです。

We enjoyed fruits tea and some sweets.
私達はここで、フルーツティーとケーキを頂きました。

On that day, the owner of the club, AKA, Hiroshi Yagyu was available. His talk was fun and friendly.
この日はオーナーの柳生博さんもいらっしゃって、気さくにお話ししてくださいました。

I got a snap shot with him. But I forgot to make it automatic mode for someone to take the photo. So it became like this... boo hoo hoo...
カメラの設定をオート撮影にするのを忘れて渡してしまったので、こんな画像になってしまいました。トホホ・・・

I have looked around their crafts and took some photos. It was a bit brighter than I expected. If I could make it a bit darker condition, I guess the picture might be much more tasteful.

敷地内に展示されている作品を撮影してみました。もう少し暗くなってからの方が、より趣が感じられたと思います。

After all we got into the gorgeous bus again and heading back home.
そして、再び豪華バスに乗って帰途についたのでした。
