Lunch At Andaz Tokyo

I had lunch at Andaz Tokyo. If it's fine weather, you can enjoy the view of skyscraper Tokyo. Unfortunately I couldn't make it.
アンダーズ東京で昼食を取りました。天気が良ければ東京の高層ビル群が眺められるのですが、この日は残念ながらそれが出来ませんでした。

First, I ordered this named "Full blossom."
It's lemon and lime based light and plane soft beverage.
まずは、「フルブロッソム（満開）」という名の飲み物を注文。
レモンとライムがベースのさっぱりしたソフトドリンクです。

It went well with the Boxed Lunch of beef lasagna.
Actually, you can choose the main dish though. They had fish based ones mostly that day so I decided to have this.
ビーフラザニアの弁当と良く合いました。
こちらはメインが選べますが、この日は魚系が多かったのでこれにしました。

It includes such cute sweets and coffee.
こんな可愛いスイーツと珈琲も付いています。

Why I had lunch there?
Just because I had an individual investor's meeting at this hotel. And this is one of the investment property of them. Since I am one of the investor so I wanted to see how well the business goes.
何故ここでランチを食べたのかって？
それは、このホテルで投資家の会議があったから。そしてここは投資対象物件の一つなんです。投資主の一人としては業績はどうかも知りたいですからね。

Tour To Hayama Area #3 Yokosuka Museum

We got to the Yokosuka Museum. I wanted to visit here so far long.  Finally I made it!
Look at this beautiful buildings. I liked its location too.
横須賀美術館に到着です。ずっと来たかったこの場所。遂に実現しました。
この美しい建物をご覧下さい。地理的にも気に入りましたよ。

It locates on the beach shore. I can enjoy the views of Tokyo Bay and many ships come and go.
Also you can see Aqua Line above the horizon.
目の前は東京湾。その海岸を往来する船を眺めて楽しめます。
水平線の上あたりに、アクアラインも見えます。

They have a nice cafe with this comfortable open area.
そして開放感抜群の、こんな素敵なカフェも併設されています。

Just The Name Or What?

I've been to Santa Monica California many times. I think there aren't any winery in that area though..... May be it's just the name or what?
カリフォルニア州サンタモニカには何度も行ったことがありますが、この地区にワイナリーは無いと思いますけど・・・単に名付けただけかも？

I got this at a grocery store near my house anyway.
まあとにかく、我が家の近くのスーパーで買いました。

Moss Phlox Festival in Lake Motosu

Because of heavy traffic, I could take photo from my car....
渋滞で写真が撮れるほど暇だったり、

The parking lot was really crowded also....
大混雑の駐車場もあり、

Walk through Prunus Serrulata (Hill Cherry), I got to the place where I wanted to visit.
山桜の咲く道を通って、ずっと行きたかった場所に到着。

I went to Moss Phlox Festival in Lake Motosu.
This place is much larger than Hitsuji-yama Park of Mt Bukou area I've visited earlier.
本栖湖の芝桜祭りに行ってきました。
こちらは、この前行った武甲山の麓、羊山公園よりも広いのです。

This place is very special. Since you can enjoy such views.
この特別な場所で楽しめるのはこんな景色。

They use different colors of Moss Phlox and....
このように咲く、色とりどりの芝桜を利用して・・・

Turned out such great view!!
こんな風景も楽しめます。

I had my coffee break at the cafe. According to them, this cafe opens in a definite period of time.
そして、こちらのカフェで休憩を。こちらは期間限定で営業だそうです。

What I have had were;
Cherry blossom flavor cake and cherry flavor latte. You see pink powder thing on top of coffee. It smelled so nice. (It's not Moss Phlox flavor though)
頂いたのは、芝桜ではなくて、桜の香りのケーキとカフェラテ。珈琲に加えられたピンク色のパウダーは桜の粉末だそうで、とても良い香りがしていました。

Yebisu Beer

Yebisu beer is my favorite kind. Now they have these ones below. The white one named
"Silk" is not available by now.
エビスビールは私好みのビール。今は下の3種類が出ています。白い「シルク」は今はありません。

Cherry blossom season will be very soon. So these ones are go well with "Hanami Bento
(packed lunch in the box)."
Ah, I can't wait!!
まもなく桜の花見シーズン。これと花見弁当はもう最高。
待ちきれないわ!!

Sake Brewery Cafe

I went to a cafe that used to be a sake brewery. They have very special beverage there. It is made from sake lees.
あるカフェに行きました。ここはかつて酒蔵だったところ。こちらには特製の酒粕から作った飲み物があります。

According to them, add some ginger will make the taste better. So I tried. Yes, it was good.
お店の方のよれば、生姜パウダーを加えると味が引き立つとか。で、さっそく試してみましたら、その通りでした。

This part remain the brewery in those days.
かつて酒蔵だった名残が見うけられます。

Beaujolais Nouveau 2013

今夜はこれ。２本目なり。

This is the one I had yesterday.
昨日のはこれ。

It tastes sweeter than last year's ones to me.
今年は甘い気がする。

Lunch at Ginza

I went to Ginza for having French cuisine with tea. It is served at "Mariage Freres."
銀座にお茶を使ったフランス料理を食べに行って来ました。それがこちら、マリアージュフレールというところ。

Luckily, I got a free gift from a business cooperated company. I didn't want to waste the ticket.
無料の招待券を頂きまして、券を無駄にしたくないので行ってきたのです。

The first floor is a shop that sells many kinds of tea. The second floor is the restaurant that you see below.
１階は色々な種類の紅茶を扱うショップでレストランはその２階にあります。下の写真が内部です。

Tea flavored Creamy tomato soup. I don't remember what kind of tea it was though.
紅茶風味のクリーミートマトスープ。紅茶は何だったか覚えてません。

Grilled scallops with navy bean /haricot (perhaps) and green tea flavored sauce. It was so good!
ホタテ貝のグリル、白インゲン豆（たぶん）と緑茶風味ソース 。とても美味しかったですわ!

Plum and pistachio pie.
プラムとピスタチオのパイ。

Served with big potful of tea. They have over a hundred kind of tea so it was hard for me to choose. I followed their recommendation. But I don't remember its name. It might be French something or sort of.....
紅茶はこんな大きなポットで提供されます。１００種類以上あるお茶の中から好きなものを選べますが、ちょっと多すぎて。お勧めを試してみました。でもお茶の名前忘れちゃった。何とかフレンチと言ったような気が・・・

I got some scone as a souvenir for my family.
そして家族へのお土産にスコーンを買いました。

Darjeeling First Flash Tea

As I have had my breakfast at a restaurant one weekend, I saw the sign of "Darjeeling First Flash." I didn't know anything about English tea before. Then I've learned a little bit from a lady who has English tea lessons on her blog(Japanese language only) articles. So I'm very curious and decided to try the tea.
週末に朝食を食べに行ったファミレスで、「ダージリンファーストフラッシュ」なる看板を見かけました。以前は紅茶のことなど全く知りませんでしたけど、紅茶教室を開いていらっしゃる方のブログ記事からそのことを知り、とても興味があったので早速試してみました。

I was surprised that the leaves have green colors. In my idea, it should be brown color though. It seemed like Japanese green tea to me.
とても驚いたのは、茶葉が緑色だったことです。紅茶は茶色だと思っていましたから。私には日本茶のように見えました。

Well, the taste is.... just English tea!
それでお味は・・・やっぱり紅茶でした！

Orange juice and Rose hip tea.

This is one of my favorite restaurant (Japanese language only). Their original recipe of orange juice and Rose Hip tea is one of the best. So I had a breakfast with the tea the other day.
ここはお気に入りのレストランの１つです。こちらのオリジナル、ローズヒップティーが気に入ってます。ここで朝食を食べたときの写真です。

Since the tea became popular among my friends, I'd upload this article on my blog.
何しろここのオリジナルレシピが、友人達の間で評判だったので、ブログ記事にすることにしました。

Here is the process.
では作り方です。
1 Have hot Rose Hip tea and orange juice.
1 ホットローズヒップティとオレンジジュースを用意します。

2 Fill up the glass with crushed ice.
2 グラスをクラッシュアイスで一杯に満たします。
3 Pour orange juice for one third of its total amount.
3 オレンジジュースを全体の３分の１量注ぎます。

4 Then pour Rose Hip tea gently. Add liquid sugar if you want to.
4 ローズヒップティーを静かに注ぎます。好みでガムシロップを入れます。

That's all!
It contains lots of vitamin C. Very healthy. I like it a lot.
これだけです!!
ビタミンCも豊富でとってもヘルシー。気に入ってます。

Here is my other favorite menu, "California Taco Salad."
もう一つのお気に入りメニューの「カリフォルニアタコサラダ」。

Tea time

今日、こんなお茶を見つけました。これ、ロサンゼルスの友人に以前頂いたことがありましたが、日本では今日初めて見かけました。ちょっと懐かしくなって、思わず買ってしまいました。家に帰って、早速飲んでみました。
Today, I found very unusual tea at a store. Actually I have had this one at my friend's house in Los Angels before. She knew many kinds of tea and served me this one.
When I saw it at the store, it reminded me of her so I got the one. And of course, I had the tea soon after I got home.

中身は、ハートの形をした蕾状のものが入っています。それにお湯を注ぎ、しばらく待っていると、だんだんと開いていきます。丁度花が咲くような感じです。同時に、ジャスミンの香りもしてきます。このパッケージには、ジャスミンと千日紅の花が入ってるそうです。
Inside the package, there are two heart shaped things. I put one of them into the tea cup and poured hot water in it. Then I waited for a while. It went as flower blooming little by little. I smelled jasmine also. According to the package description, they are jasmine flower and other one. (I don't know the English name.)

完全に開くと、中からもう一つの鮮やかな紅色の花が出てきます。楽しいお茶でしょう？
At the end a pretty crimson red flower appeared. Isn't it lovey pretty tea?
もう一つの方は、マリーゴールドとジャスミンが入っているそうですが、どちらも可愛くて気に入っています。
