Sir Thomas Lipton Tea House Ginza

I attended a tea lecture at Sir Thomas Lipton Tea House Ginza. It was sort of a training session. We worked on team.
銀座にあるサー・トーマス・リプトン・ティーハウスで紅茶の講義を受けました。チームになって行う実習講義でした。

The general manager made a short speech as his greeting.
まずは総支配人のご挨拶です。

Then we took part in the training session from the lecturer. She explained the details intelligibly to us.
実習講義を担当された講師の先生。とても分かり易く説明してくださいました。

I was so thrilled.
期待でワクワクです。

Now, the session would begin.
さあ、実習の始まりです。

One of us weighed out enough amount of tea leaf.
チームの一人が茶葉を量ります。

The other poured hot boiling water into the pot.
別の一人が、ポットに熱湯を注ぎます。

It went out of focus though, it showed jumping leaf.
ピントがボケてしまったけれど、ジャンピングリーフの様子を写しました。

We checked the time to be ready.
時間をチェックしながら飲み頃になるのを待ちます。

Then we poured the tea into another pot.
そして別のポットに紅茶を注ぎ入れます。

Don't forget "Golden drops."
最後の一滴「ゴールデンドロップ」も忘れずに。

Here is the perfect tea!!
完璧な紅茶の出来上がりです!!

Clotted cream and jam, of course!
もちろん、クロッテドクリームにジャムも！

Ah, it's such a happy moment!
Actually we also had sandwich though. It was "too late" when I realized it...
ああ～!幸せな瞬間！
本当はサンドイッチもあったのだけれど、気づいた時は「手遅れ」で・・

そこはまた、サー・トーマス・リプトンのミニミュージアムでもあります。

This is the entrance of the Tea House.
こちらはティーハウスの入り口の所。
