Iris Festa In Sawara And Itako

It rather be old event though, I went Iris Festa in both Sawara and Itako.
We went Sawara first.
これもかなり前の事なのですが、佐原市と潮来のあやめ祭りに行ってきました。
まずは、佐原市のアヤメです。

It was a bit windy and was hard to take photos clearly.
若干風が強く、綺麗に撮ろうと、苦労しました。

I think purple is difficult to make it clear.
紫を上手く撮るのは難しいです。

Oh well, white one as well... it means... my skill is the problem...
白も難しくて・・あ、色のせいじゃなくて私の技量が問題だわね・・

Someone who cares the garden wore such costume.
園内を整備する方も、こんな出立ちでした。

There were some lovely water lilies also.
睡蓮も水面に顔を出していました。

They were lined beautifully.
美しく列になって咲いていました。

Then we moved Itako Iris Park.
そして潮来のあやめ祭りに移動です。

I just picked up some of them.
いくつかアップにしてみました。

I like this one the best.
これ、お気に入りです。

This one is cute.
これは可愛いと思いまして。

Some people enjoyed riding the boat. I didn't try it though.
舟に乗って景色を楽しむ人も。私は乗りませんでしたが。

I found some hydrangeas also.
紫陽花も咲いてました。

It seemed calm and peaceful day.
穏やかな日でした。

But when I tried to take photos, it began to blow winds... Oh boy!
でも、写真を撮ろうとすると、風が吹いてくるんですよね。

Tour Of Ashikaga Flower Park #2

Japanese wisteria trellis of Ashikaga Flower Park is world famous spot since it's introduced by mass media. So many of you might know this place. I wanted to visit there.
あしかがフラワーパークの大藤。マスコミ関連で紹介されることが多いので、ご存知の方も多いでしょう。ここは以前から行きたいと思っていた場所です。　

It's hard for me to represent its beautiful wisteria violet.
藤の花の美しい紫を撮るのがなかなか難しいです。

This one has huge vines. It's hard to make it a good framing with my poor skills.
とても大きな藤で、カメラの腕がいまいちの私には、上手くフレーミングできません。

Here is another huge vine one. Full bloomed pale pink wisteria is so beautiful.
淡いいピンク色の藤が咲き乱れ、それは豪華な風景です。

Lots of people went across the bridge and enjoyed the flowers. We could smell sweet wisteria in the garden.
沢山の人が、屋根に藤の花が咲く橋を渡って、花を楽しんでいました。
園内は藤の花からの甘い匂いが漂います。

There were orange and yellow poppies that made the garden colorful.
ポピーのオレンジや黄色も、園内をいっそう華やかにしていました。

This one is also gorgeous.
こちらも豪華絢爛です。

With dogwood pink and wisteria violet make the atmosphere great.
ハナミズキのピンク色と藤の花の共演で、それは豪華な雰囲気になっています。

It's hard to see from this photo though, it's pale pink wisteria.
写真では分かりにくいでしょうが、淡いピンク色の藤です。

Does this guy live here? This one gazed the tourists without haste.
こちらにお住まいなのでしょうか？観光客をじっくり眺めておられました。

This one seems like bunch of grapes.
ブドウの実のように見える藤もありました。

I really liked this atmosphere so I took a photo for it.
この雰囲気がとても気に入って撮った一枚です。

I enjoyed myself a lot with this tour.
楽しいツアーでした。

Tour Of Ashikaga Flower Park #1

It took so far long to upload this though. I went to see azalea and wisteria in Tatebayashi Azalea Park and Ashikaga Flower Park with this gorgeous bus. It has leather seats as the photo below.
随分時間が経ってしまったけれど、舘林つつじヶ丘公園のツツジとあしかがフラワーパークの藤の花を見に行ってきました。座席は皮張りの、この豪華なバスに乗車しました。

The first spot was Tatebayashi Azalea Park. We enjoyed those beautiful azaleas.
まずは、つつじヶ丘公園で満開のツツジを鑑賞です。

I like this color, fuchsia.
このフューシャと言う色、好きなんです。

Here are other color. Sort of like pink salmon. I liked it too.
サーモンピンクみたいな色も良かったです。

Here are dark and bright pink gradation. They were so pretty.
こちらはピンク系の濃淡でとても豪華でした。

It's hard to see though, this scarlet was also great.
ちょっと分かりにくくなってしまったけれど、朱色も綺麗でした。

I went through the path and it made me something happy.
この小道を歩くと、気分がウキウキします。

Then we had our lunch at Ashikaga-Imari. I don't remember the details of the menu since it's been so far long.
そしてお食事はこちら、足利伊万里で。かなり前の事なので、メニューの詳細忘れてしまいました。

The statue of raccoon dog seemed interesting to me. So I took the photo.
狸の置物がなんだか面白くて、写真に収めました。

Then we were heading to next spot, Ashikaga Flower Park.
さて、次なる目的地、あしかがフラワーパークに向かいます。

Japanese Primrose In Nikko #2

As I was taking photos of Japanese Primrose in Senjukahama shore...
千手が浜に咲くクリン草を撮影していましたが・・

I was getting hungry.
This tour was included meal so they gave us such boxed lunch.
お腹も減って来ます。このツアーではこんなお弁当が配られました。

Oh well, the box looked gorgeous but inside was a bit....
箱は立派なのですけど、中身はちょっと寂しい気が・・

Anyway, I filled up myself and continued photo session.
まあとにかく、お腹を満たして撮影を続けます。

On the other hand, there is a must visit spot of Nikko. That is Kegon Fall.
そして日光と言えば、華厳の滝はハズせない。

You can go to closer view spot of the fall by elevator though. You need to walk a bit far.
Actually, my knee condition was not so well that day so I gave up to get there. I just looked it from the upper view spot only.
エレベーターを利用すれば滝の近くまで行かれるのですが、かなり歩きます。この日の私は膝のコンディションが今ひとつだったので、上から眺めるだけにしておきました。

I didn't forget to taste croquette with Yuba (tofu skin) filling.
そして忘れちゃいけない、湯葉入りコロッケも味見ですな。

I really liked such lovely flower, Japanese Primrose.
可愛い花、クリン草がすっかり気に入ってしまいました。
