Chopper Ride

I took a chopper ride group tour in January. It was very reasonable price. If I charter the chopper personally, it costs at least 150,000 yen (about $1,500+).
I paid about 10% of it for the tour. Just one thing you should know is the embarkation time becomes shorter.
1月にヘリコプター遊覧ツアーに参加しました。とてもお値打ちな価格でした。もし個人でチャーターすると、最低15万円以上するのです。私がツアーに払った費用は、その約１０％ほどでした。ただし、搭乗時間は短くなりますが。

We got on board of this chopper. The pilot is work for the air ambulance also.
こちらのヘリに搭乗しました。パイロットはドクターヘリとして活躍されている方です。

Now it's taking off.
いよいよ出発。

It was fun ride but just one thing I was a bit disappointed. Since we could not see Mt Fuji.
空中遊覧は楽しいですが、天気がちょっと残念。本当は富士山が見えるハズだったのです。

It was awful stormy weather in the morning. When I think of it, I should not complaint. The weather was not so bad when we were on board. We could see blue sky that was amazing change of the weather.
この日の朝は大荒れの天気でした。それを考えると、青空が見えるようになったのは奇跡的。文句を言ってはいけませんね。

We could see Mt Kiso area by then.
木曽方面の山は見えてきました。

Also we could see the town below.
眼下の街も少しづつ開けてきています。

It traveled around a while and got back to the helicopter port.
周辺を回遊してヘリポートに戻っていきます。

Generally you could see Mt Fuji from this point though..
Too bad, we couldn't make it.
本来なら、この位置から富士山が見えるハズなのですが、残念ながらこの日は見ることが出来ませんでした。

It's just behind the cloud over there.
雲の向こうに富士山があるんだけどね。

Anyway, this is a training school for aircraft. There are many devices for training.
さて、ここは航空学校なので、訓練用の設備が色々あります。

Here is the simulated device for cabin crew.
こちらは機内での訓練用の設備。

This cockpit is for the pilot simulation.
パイロット用のコックピット設備もあります。

I looked around and enjoyed myself. Their explanation was so interesting. I hope I can come again and will see Mt Fuji from the sky.
色々見て、説明もして頂き、楽しく過ごせました。でも、もう一度来て、空から富士山を見たいな。

Visit Fukuroda Falls Last Fall

I went to see Fukuroda Falls last autumn.
昨年秋に袋田の滝に行ってきました。

There was plenty of water because of typhoon effect.
今年は台風の影響で、水流は多めでした。

This is the view of its perspective.
遠景はこんな感じ。

It should be peak season of autumn colors though. It wasn't ready yet. It rather be delayed this season.

ただ、紅葉は例年より遅く、まだ変化していませんでした。

The top part of the mountain became slightly red though.
山の上の方は若干色ついていましたけど。

We dined at Ho-nen-man-saku.
食事はこちら、豊年万作で。

The meal was bento box kind with Yuba Tofu hot pot.
懐石弁当と湯葉豆腐です。

We moved next spot, Hananukiya Valley. Too bad. The colors of autumn was not ready yet.
次なる紅葉スポット、花貫渓谷へ向かいます。やはり紅葉は未だでした。

There was quite few spot had this red....
綺麗な赤も若干ありましたが・・

The bridge is the best view spot of maple red leaves though. It wasn't ready yet.
つり橋は、残念ながらまだ紅葉せず状態。

Lot of things I could not make it anyway. I know I should come again.
Then I got into the tour bus and went back home bound.
残念なことばかりでした。また来なくてはと思いながら、帰宅の途につきました。

Akebono Children's Park In Hanno

It's an old post also.
I walked around Akebono Children's Park in Hanno.
これもまた古い話です。
飯能にある、あけぼの子供の森公園に出かけました。

It was hard to make it well balanced contrast.
コントラスト調整が難しくてうまく撮れませんでした。

It's cute shaped building.
何とも可愛らしい建物です。

Inside of the building is like this.
内部はこんな感じです。

The living room is fashionable.
お洒落なリビングルームかな。

There is a fireplace also. They use it actually.
暖炉もあって、実際に使われているようです。

Stairs are so fancy. It seems as if Moomin apperes.
ムーミンが出てきそうな階段です。

There is a basement also but we can't enter there.
地下もあるようですが、残念ながらここは立ち入り禁止でした。

The view around the building was beautiful too.
秋色の景色も素敵でした。

I may visit Moomin Vally next time.
次はムーミンバレーに行ってみようと思っています。

Iris Festa In Sawara And Itako

It rather be old event though, I went Iris Festa in both Sawara and Itako.
We went Sawara first.
これもかなり前の事なのですが、佐原市と潮来のあやめ祭りに行ってきました。
まずは、佐原市のアヤメです。

It was a bit windy and was hard to take photos clearly.
若干風が強く、綺麗に撮ろうと、苦労しました。

I think purple is difficult to make it clear.
紫を上手く撮るのは難しいです。

Oh well, white one as well... it means... my skill is the problem...
白も難しくて・・あ、色のせいじゃなくて私の技量が問題だわね・・

Someone who cares the garden wore such costume.
園内を整備する方も、こんな出立ちでした。

There were some lovely water lilies also.
睡蓮も水面に顔を出していました。

They were lined beautifully.
美しく列になって咲いていました。

Then we moved Itako Iris Park.
そして潮来のあやめ祭りに移動です。

I just picked up some of them.
いくつかアップにしてみました。

I like this one the best.
これ、お気に入りです。

This one is cute.
これは可愛いと思いまして。

Some people enjoyed riding the boat. I didn't try it though.
舟に乗って景色を楽しむ人も。私は乗りませんでしたが。

I found some hydrangeas also.
紫陽花も咲いてました。

It seemed calm and peaceful day.
穏やかな日でした。

But when I tried to take photos, it began to blow winds... Oh boy!
でも、写真を撮ろうとすると、風が吹いてくるんですよね。
