Terry's 13th Birthday

July 15 was Terry's 13th birthday.
7月15日でテリー君は13歳になりました。

This alligator toy is for his birthday gift from auntie Nobue.
おばちゃんからのプレゼントは、このワニのおもちゃです。

Soon after he saw the toy, he started to play his favorite one.
さっそくいつもの遊び、「ウーごっこ」を始めます。

He's in the high tension! Lol
気合入ってます（笑）

He really likes to play it with the toy.
Because of his food allergy, I can't give him any food as before.
本当にこの遊びが好きです。
食べ物アレルギーが酷いので、最近のプレゼントはオモチャが中心です。

絵になるね、テリー君。

Terry Mama cooked some for human. It's simple but tastes really good.
テリーママが、人間用にはこのお料理を作ってくれました。シンプルだけど美味しいんだよ。

Auntie Nobue got Le Comte's fruit cake for human.
おばちゃんは、ルコントのフルーツケーキを買ってきました。これも人間用ですが。

Terry sat his regular spot and got ready for his food.
テリー君は、定位置で自分用のご飯を待っています。

Look at his high concentration.
それはもう、集中力抜群です。

Then he got back to his favorite play.
Let's have another birthday party next year. Stay healthy.
そしてまた、この遊びを。
来年も元気で誕生会パーティーしようね。

Terry's Birthday 2013

Terry became 8 years old by July 15, 2013.
テリー君は2013年7月15日で8歳になりました。

Just as usual, Terry got birthday gift (toy) and had special cake (salmon and kabocha pumpkin) that Terry Mama made. I guess he liked the cake so much.
今年もオモチャをもらい、テリーママ特製の鮭とカボチャのケーキを食べました。
美味しかったみたいですよ。

This is for human.
こちらは人間用。

This is for Terry.
こちらがテリー君用。

 

Then he took the toy toward his particular spot as usual.
そしていつものように、オモチャを隠します。

We went to Lake Kawaguchi and stayed at the doggy park...... same as usual.
河口湖のドッグランにも行きました。

He looks so happy, don't you think?
嬉しそうな顔してるでしょ?

Terry Mama's Birthday

January 29 was Terry Mama's birthday so we had special dinner. I ordered a cake for her also.
１月２９日はテリーママの誕生日だったので、お祝いのディナーを食べました。勿論ケーキもオーダーしました。

I can't cook much since I have effected from the injection on my hand. So I ordered bento box that Ji-chan's favorite one.
(治療のため)手に注射をしている影響で(包丁を使うなどの)料理ができません。そこで毎度お馴染み、爺ちゃんの好きなお弁当を注文しました。

Terry got a new toy instead of special food. Since he has some allergy for food.
Oh well.... 
テリー君はアレルギーがあるので、特別なディナーの代わりに新しいオモチャをもらいました。

Belated birthday for myself

先週は私の誕生日の週でしたが、忙しくて大したこともしないうちに終わってしまいました。でも友人達からプレゼントやお祝いメッセージを頂いたり、国際電話でバースデーコールも来ました。友人達の心使いがとても嬉しかったです。
It was my birthday last week. I couldn't do anything much since I was so busy. But I received gifts, messages and even an international birthday call.
How sweet they are! They made me lots of smiles.

それで、今週は自分へのプレゼントを買いに行きました。右の写真がそれです。ずっと前から考えていたのですけれど、とうとう買っちゃいました。これ、コーヒーメーカーです。ガラス製ではなくステンレスの保温ポットというのがポイントです。保温ポットの代名詞にもなっている、Thermos社の製品です。これの利点は、すぐに飲まなくでも冷めてしまうことがないから、これからの季節に重宝しそうです。(写真は、同社のオフィシャルサイトからです）
On this week, I went to a store to get a birthday gift for myself! See the photo on the right. (It's from the official site of the maker, Thermos.) I have been thinking of it and I got it at last! This is a coffee maker. Generally it has a glass pot, however, it comes up with "Thermos", a flask bottle!! It keeps coffee warm for a while so it would be useful for winter season.


さて、早速コーヒーを・・・
あ!! 肝心の豆が無かったんだぁ～! 今日買ってこなくっちゃ。
Now I would try my new tool...
Oh no!! I don't have any coffee bean for it! I have to get some today.

素敵なバースデーギフト Lovely Birthday Gift

少し前の話です。１０月に誕生日を迎えた私ですが、11月になって友人からプレゼントが贈られてきました。誕生日の日にこだわる人もいるのでしょうが、私の場合、一向に気にしません。
だって、こういう楽しいバースデーなら何日続いても良いですから(笑)。
プレゼントの中身は、こんな素敵な物でした。
It had happened a while ago. I had my birthday in October. Then I have received my birthday gift from my friend in November . Well, some people may conscious for its birth date however, I don't mind it at all. I rather have such fun even after my birth date. Isn't it nice that I can have more fun days?
Guess what was the gift?

なんと、テリー君の写真付きチョコレートだったんです。しかも名入りです。

こんな嬉しいプレゼントはないですね！もったいなくてなかなか食べられませんけど。テリーママ(姉)の親友にもお裾分けしましたが、とても喜んでくれました。

Boxful of Chocolates with Terry on them! And even on his name! Wow, custom made gift!! What a nice surprise! It's hard for me to eat them though...

I gave few of them to my sister's best friend also. She liked it too.

チョコを下さった友人に感謝です。
