His Shonann Seashore Visiting #2

This is a cafe that locates in Southern Beach Chigasaki.
こちらは茅ヶ崎のサザンビーチにあるカフェ。

They accept dogs at the terrace seat.
テラス席はワンコも入れます。

What he is looking at......
テリー君の目線の先にあるのは・・・・

Food! But these are for human anyway.
もちろん食べ物！　でもこれは人間用です。

Cool sea breeze made our tea break comfy.
潮風が気持ちの良いティータイムになりました。

His first experience of sea shore walking.
そして初体験の海岸。

Sniff, sniff, sniff....
クン、クン、クン・・・

He prefer swimming pool than sea water.
テリー君には、海よりもプールの方がいいみたいです。

Terry Mama got something for him at Kugenuma Beach.
Guess what?
テリーママは鵠沼でテリー君に何か買ってあげました。
さて何でしょう？

His Shonann Seashore Visiting #1

A new service was opened to traffic lately and it made us easy access toward Sho-nann seashore area.
The photo shows Kugenuma Kaigan Seashore. Also commanding a fine view of Enoshima Island.
新しい道路が開通して湘南が近くなりました。
鵠沼海岸の向こうには江ノ島が見えます。

The roof of the building commands a bird's-eye view of Enoshima Island. This is the place for Terry to play.
江ノ島を見渡せるビルの屋上にテリー君の遊び場があるのです。

If it would be fine clear weather, you can see Mt Fuji on this direction though. Too bad, I could see it just a while ago. But I couldn't get any photos.
天気が良ければこの方向に富士山が見えるのです。実際、少し前まで見えていたのですがね。ちょっと残念。

Terry can eat with us in this restaurant.
こちらのレストランはテリー君も一緒に食事が出来ます。

This plate is for human.
こちらは人間用。

He smelled briny air at the promenade.
海岸通りで潮風の香りを楽しむテリー君。

From now on, you can call him "Shonann Boy." (Bit too old to call him BOY though....)

Another View Spot of Mt Fuji

There are many view spots available around Mt Fuji. This time I went Gotenba area.
富士山を見るのに絶好の場所は色々あります。今回は御殿場周辺からの富士山です。

To see this view, I went up to this observation platform.
この景色を撮るためにこちらの展望台に。

I tried many times. But it was covered by clouds so I could not take good shots.
でも、雲に隠れてしまってなかなか綺麗に撮れません。

So I moved to another spot to see them....
そこでもう一つのスポットに移動してみましたが。

Clouds bothered me again. Anyway, the photo is not so bad, I believe.
やっぱり雲に邪魔されてしまいました。でも、まあまあかなと思うんですけど。

This is also the view spot of Mt Fuji though. Only the bottom part that you can see. Too bad!
こちらも富士山の見える場所。残念ながら下の方しか見えませんでした。

Oh well, I had "Mt Fuji Omelette" for my lunch that day.
Isn't it too small? Then I found it has "basement." I should say it rather be a large potion.
Do not judge the thing by its surface. It has underground!!
で、この日の昼食は「富士山オムレツ」なる物を頼んでみました。
なんか小さくない？と思ったら、これ「地下」がありまして、かなりの量でした。
物事は表面だけで判断しちゃダメね。裏があるから。

Yum, yum!
美味しかったよ！

His Lucky Cat

Terry likes to play with his "Lucky Cat."
テリー君の招き猫。これで遊ぶのが大好きです。

He also likes to eat out. So we went this place after he played.
お食事に出かけるのも、もちろん好き。なので、遊んだ後はここでお食事。

The Cudgel Of the Ogre

Cudgel of Ogre? It'll be time for "Setu-bun" soon.
鬼の金棒？　そう言えば、もうじき節分だね。

He thinks he would beaten up the Ogre.
テリー君は鬼をやっつけているらしいです。

Where is the Ogre?
It doesn't matter to him anyway.......
でも鬼はどこに？
テリー君には、それはどうでもいいようですが・・・・

Soon after I uploaded my article "Orient Express," Terry Mama was injured and hospitalized for a while. Since then I have faced hectic days.
Somehow we are all doing OK so don't worry.
前回の記事「オリエント急行」をアップした直後に、今度はテリーママが負傷し入院してしまいました。以来超多忙の日々でした。
今は何とかやっていますのでご心配なく。

Orient Express in Lalique Museum

Authentic Orient Express train car has exhibited in Lalique Museum in Hakone. The railroad car was used as Orient Express Line just a few years earlier. It  has brought to Japan from France in 2004. You can take "Tea Time tour" on board.
箱根にあるラリック美術館に、オリエント急行で数年前まで使われていた車両が展示されています。数年前まで実際に使われていたもので、２００４年にフランスから運ばれてきたそうです。この車内でお茶を楽しむツアーに参加する事が出来るのです。

By the time I got to the museum, I haven't had my lunch yet. So I had the one at the restaurant inside the museum, waited for "the tour."
美術館に到着し、まだ昼食を済ませていなかったので、館内のレストランで食事をし、ツアーの時間が来るのを待ちました。

Now it's time for the tour. I think it was a good timing for my desert time.
Look at the teacup. It has the name of "Orient Express." It made me a special feeling.
そしていよいよ「列車の旅」に。食後のデザートとして最高のタイミングでしたよ。
ご覧のように、カップにも「オリエント急行」の名が入っています。特別な気分になれますね。

The total interior of the train remains as it used to be. Then you can have "Tea tour" as the photos below.
車内の設備はテーブルから椅子など、全てオリジナルのまま。そこに、このようにお茶とケーキが用意されています。

You can take photos unless using flash light. Well, it was a bit darker though.
車内はフラッシュを使用しなければ撮影できます。ちょっと暗かったけどね

The train exhibits as if we are in the platform. It made me like the traveler.
プラットホーム風の展示が旅気分にさせてくれました。

On the way to Sengokuhara area, you can enjoy such views.
ここ、仙石原への道はこんな景色も楽しめます。

Too bad. Mt Fuji was covered with clouds and could not see the perfect shape.
雲がかかって、完全な姿でないのが残念です。

I was hospitalized in late December. Since then I could not use my PC so much.
Now I'm doing OK. The detail story will come up some time soon.
先月なんと、まさかの入院してしまいまして、以来パソコンを控えておりました。
今はすっかり良くなりましたよ。その詳細は、まあ近いうちにね。

Ready For Winter

It's getting so cold these days so I exchanged summer tires (below the photo) for winter ones.
寒くなってきたので、写真の夏用タイヤから、冬用に替えました。

It can be used as a plow also.

Got winter tires already. Now I would say, my car is ready for winter.
スタッドレスタイヤ装着で、車の冬支度完了です。

I went Nishizawa Valley area to see autumn colors.
So where would I go next?
西沢渓谷の紅葉を楽しんできました。
さて、次は何処行こうかな？

His Outfit From Costco Apparel

Look at his pretty nice outfit!
Terry Mama shopped it at Costco. This is the first time we saw their dog apparels.
テリー君のお洋服、オシャレでしょ！
テリーママがコストコで買いました。ワンコの服は初めて見かけましたよ。
