Terry's Birthday 2012

Terry reminds of his birthday this year still. Mmm, it was great!!

テリー君はいまだに今年の誕生日のことを思い出しています。

う～ん、実に良かった。

Since I had beer!!

 何たってビールだし!!

So I enjoyed its "taste" very well.

じっくりと「味わった」しさ。

And I had salmon for my dinner.

そしてディナーは鮭だった。

Oh well, I know that auntie Nobue and Ji-chan had gorgeous dinner that were delivered from the famous Japanese restaurant. I smelled them. The photo below is the ones they have had.

でもさ、叔母ちゃんと爺ちゃんの誕生日は豪華なお料理を取り寄せたんだよね。美味しそうな匂いがしてたよ。これ食べたんだってさ。

Hey, Terry. Do you remember your first birthday? I got special cake for you. It just made for dogs. Since the shop wasn't available near my area so I took four hours ride (round trip) to get it.

テリー君は初めての誕生日を覚えているかな? 叔母ちゃん（私）が犬用の特別なケーキを買いに行ったのを。

近くの店に無くて、車で往復４時間もかかったんだよ。

GRRR! versus WOOOF!

He is already over 70 years old though, Mick Jagger of Rolling Stones released a new album "GRRR!"
Humph!
I'm "only" 7 years old and I go "WOOOF!"
すでに７０歳を超えたローリングストーンズのミックジャガーがアルバム"GRRR!"を出したってさ。
フン!
俺なんか「まだ」７歳だし、"WOOOF!"で対抗するぜ。

Karuizawa Vacation 2012 #4

There are lots of "must visit" places in Karuizawa.
軽井沢は行きたい所が目白押し。

Here is the one, Asami Mitsuhiko's house. (He is a hero of a detective story, authored by Yasuo Uchida.) The stories have dramatiezed both TV and movies.
The facility accepts dog's admission also. This is very important point for Terry.
ＴＶドラマや映画でお馴染みの、浅見光彦関連の施設もはずせない。テリー君も見学出来るのが重要なポイントです。写真は「浅見光彦の家」です。

On the other hand, we visited the tea shop. (Terry cannot enter though)
そしてこんな紅茶館とか(但しここはテリー君入れませんけど)

This is also "must visit" spot for Terry. This place has been used for both TV drama and movies many times.
それからテリー君のはずせないスポット、ドッグランも。ここ、ドラマや映画のロケが行われた所でもあります。

Meals always make Terry happy. His fancies are not only playing around but also having food. Since he has food allergy so we brought salmon lunch for him.
テリー君のお楽しみは、ここで遊ぶことだけじゃなくて、勿論食べる事も。でもアレルギーのため、今は持参したお弁当が主流ですが。

Our last visit this season, I could have this very special lunch at my favorite tearoom!
It is served week day only and limited for 12 servings.

今回はプリンスオブウェールズを選びました。

At Caro Foresta Karuizawa Giardino, they have leash free doggy park. I could watch him from this terrace, also having some coffee!!
Also Terry had photo session with a professional cameraman there.
そしてカーロフォレスタ軽井沢ジャルディーノではプロのカメラマンに写真を撮ってもらいました。ここのドッグランはテラスで珈琲を飲みながらテリー君の様子を眺める事も出来ます。

Karuizawa Vacation 2012 #3

This time, I'd like to tell about my favorite place. I don't want to tell the details though.
今回は私のとってもお気に入りの場所です。あんまり人に教えたくないんですけどね(笑)

There are rooms inside, a sun-room and terrace. They accept dogs at both sun-room and terrace. They give high quality service yet casual and comfortable. I really like the atmosphere.

屋内の部屋とサンルームにテラスの席があり、ワンコはサンルームかテラスに入ることが出来ます。サービスの質も高くそれでいてカジュアルで寛げ、この雰囲気を実に気入っています。

I had tea named Queen Ann.

この日はクイーンアンを飲みました。

I noticed this note below and wanted have it but I already had another tea.

その時気になっていたものはこちら。でも別のお茶を頂いた後だったので。

So I had this " Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Tea" on my next visit.

次の軽井沢訪問でこれ、エリザベス２世６０周年記念特別品を注文しました。

Instead of cake, I had scone. Great afternoon tea time!

ケーキの代わりにスコーンでアフタヌーンティータイムです。

Its garden is also nice. This shows front yard. They also have extensive grounds that named Fairy Path on the back.

お庭もとても素敵。こちらの庭の他、妖精の小径という広大な敷地が裏手にあります。

I guess Terry like this place also.
テリー君もお気に入りのようでした。

Terry brought his lunch, salmon.

鮭も食べました。

Karuizawa Vacation 2012 #2

Do you know the shop named Tom and Emma?
It is told "must have spot to visit" among Westie owners. I've tried to visit there 3 times already but neither of the time I could make it.
Then my web friend Ryoma's father gave me some useful info and I finally could make it!!  Thanks for all of your help.
ウエスティの聖地と呼ばれるトムアンドエマ。
これまで３回訪問するも残念ながらお休みの日ばかりの３連敗。
でも涼麻父さんのお陰で連敗を更新しないで済みました。ご助言ありがとうございました。

The shop owner kindly accept getting Terry in.

Karuizawa Vacation 2012 #1

It's rather be old matter though, I went to Karuizawa again last summer.
記事が今頃になってしまいましたけど、今夏も軽井沢に行きました。

Yeah! I got to Karuizawa again. I like this place a lot.
えへへ。また来たよ。軽井沢大好き。

Oh, what's that?
それはなんでちゅか？

They are for auntie Nobue and Terry-Mama's. Not for you!
We had our lunch at German restaurant, Kitzbuehl. Since I drove, I had alcohol-free beer. It tasted good.
 叔母ちゃんとママのでちゅ。テリー君のじゃありません!
ドイツレストランのキｯﾂビｭールで昼食でした。車を運転するのでノンアルコールのビールにしましたけど、充分美味しかったです。 

 Also I visited "French Bakery". It is well known as John Lennon's favorite one. So I wanted to be there so far long!
そしてこちらはジョンレノンの愛したフレンチベーカーリー。ずっと行きたかったんだ。

This is the one he loved so much.
こちらのパンがお気に入りだったそうです。
