The Railway Museum In Omiya

I joined a group tour to The Railway Museum in Omiya. It was chartered for the tour that night.
大宮にある鉄道博物館へのツアーに参加してきました。この夜は、このツアーで貸し切りでした。

At the entrance, a head part of D-51 type steam locomotive was displayed.
入り口にはD-51蒸気機関車の先頭部分が展示されています。

Let's get into the museum. Lots of real trains were displayed everywhere. If you like trains, this is the "must" place to visit.
I'm not crazy about the trains however, I could enjoy this museum.
それでは入館しましょう。沢山の本物の車両が展示されています。電車の好きな人にはたまらない場所ですね。私はそれほどのマニアではありませんが、それでも十分楽しめました。

Here is the shinkansen (bullet train) Nozomi. You can enter inside and sit the seat like real passenger.
こちらは、新幹線「のぞみ」の車両。車内に入って、乗客同様、座席に座ることもできます。

You can see the mechanical segment as well. This is the bottom part of the rain. 
機械的な部分の見学もできます。これは車体下の部分です。

These trains are real scale ones. You can see the size difference of Hayabusa on the right and Komachi on the left.
これは実物大の展示です。「はやぶさ」と「こまち」の大きさの違いがわかりますね。

They also display the models of those days trains and new ones.
歴代の車両の模型も展示されています。

Oh, I have to pick up my meal. It says "special bento."
おっと、お弁当も忘れず受け取らないとね。特製弁当だって。

This is the one.
The Tohoku line runs along this museum and I could see the trains through the windows while I had my bento supper.
これがその弁当。
博物館の横を東北線が走っていて、窓からそれを眺めながらお弁当を食べることが出来るのです。

The night museum was closed by 8:30pm. Then we were heading to our way  home.
ナイトミュージアムは8時30分で終了になりました。そして家路へと向かったのでした。
