Tableware Festival 2014 #2 My Favorite Brands

So I looked around my favorite brands.
好きなブランドも見て回ります。

Crate and Barrel. Once I got the plate while I was in USA.
クレイトアンドバレルは、かつて米国にいたときプレートを購入したことがありました。

Williams-Sonoma. I used to go to the shop in the USA. They have lots of good stuffs.
ウイリアムズソノマもよく行っていた店。高品質の商品が一杯でお気に入りでした。

Villeroy and Boch is one of my choice. In fact I have their cutlery and tableware.
ビレロイアンドボッホのカトラリーや食器は何点か持っています。お気に入りブランドのひとつ。

I like Ittala Origo series. They are my taste and color. I have the plates only.
イッタラのオリゴは色や形とも好きなシリーズ。ただしプレートだけしか持ってないけど。

Kitacichi Glass is the shop I got my old wine glasses.
北一ガラスは私の古いワイングラスを購入した店。

Seletti is the one I want to have someday.
セレッティも素敵。いつか持ちたいね。

Sugahara is also nice. I don't have any of them though.
スガハラも素敵だね～。持ってないけど。

Minako Imada's display was cute and lovely.
今田美奈子さんのも可愛くて素敵だったな。

Tableware Festival 2014 #1

I went to Tableware Festival 2014 in Tokyo Dome.
東京ドームで開催中のテーブルウエアフェスティバルに行ってきました。

These Japanese taste mixed with foreign ones are very impressive and I liked them.
こんな和風テイストも印象的で素敵だなと思いました。

"Setu-bun" and Sushi Roll #2

Soon after he recognized it, he demands for it.
オモチャを発見するやいなや「ください攻撃」開始

He started to play his favorite one.
さっそく例の遊びが始まります。

美味しい？（オモチャなんですけど・・笑）

I'm sure he enjoys it.
It is time of spring season though, it's snowing in Tokyo.
本当に楽しそうなテリー君です。
それにしても、立春だというのに東京は雪です。

"Setu-bun" and Sushi Roll #1

February 3 is "Setu-bun" in Japan. It's sort of like the Grand Hog Day in USA but not flexible as theirs. Ours is very punctually scheduled. From tomorrow it is spring time here in Japan.
Recently this sushi roll named "Eho-maki" is getting popular in Tokyo area. It is from Kansai area and now it't nation wide popular stuff.
 ２月３日は節分。アメリカで言うところのグランドホッグデイにあたりますが、日本の場合あちらのように流動的でなく、きっちり決まっています。この日を境に、あすから春なのです。
最近の東京エリアではこの恵方巻が人気です。もとは関西地方の風習だそうですが、今ではすっかり全国区の人気です。

So Terry has his one, of course.
勿論テリー君専用の恵方巻もあるのです。

Curled Up

Terry curls up at first.....
テリー君。最初は丸くなっていて・・・

When he is getting warmer, his body "opens".   It's not "full open" yet though....
暖まってくると「開き」ます。

I'm sure you guys know how it goes after all. But I don't have the photo of it anyway.

Fashion dog worked as a model

Although this event was held many years ago, Terry was participated a doggy fashion show as the model. I couldn't upload the photo for some reason. I don't know why but I couldn't make it. Now  it goes!
ずいぶん前の話なんですけど、テリー君はファッションモデルとしてショーに出演しました。
その時の主催者側の写真が何故かアップできなくて、やっと出来ました。

This was the show.
ショウの様子です。

Terry was on stage, cat walk.
ステージ上のテリー君。

He has been the fashion icon since then.
その後はすっかりファッションリーダーです。

This Judo style is one of the best. He passed their screening candidates on the basis of the documents. There were lots of candidates and he made it by this photo!
この柔道着は自慢のショットです。なにしろ、多数の応募者中からこれで写真選考を通過したのですから。

Let's look back all those his fashion also.
これまでのファッションもふり返ってみましょう。

His Cute Tail

Terry's tail is curled so this tail-hair cutting covers its shape.
テリー君の尻尾は先が曲がっています。それ故、このようなスタイルがその形状をカバーしています。

My Toe Nail Care

I had my toe nail care lately.
On that day, Shinjuku Marathon was held and I had to make detour on the way to go.
ネイルケアに行ったのですが、この日の新宿はマラソン大会開催中で、迂回させらてしまいました。

Fortunately, I have left home much earlier so I could get there pretty early. Then I could enjoy coffee break.
幸い早めに家を出たので、迂回路を通っても早く到着でき、珈琲で一息できました。

Luckily it wasn't crowded on the way back home.
この日の都内は帰路も空いていました。

Gift Certificate of Rice

I won a sweep steak recently. The prize was gift certificate of rice. Anyway, I can save some money.
懸賞に当選しました。お米券です。家計がチョッピリ助かるね。

The Preferred Customer of The Doggy Park

Terry went to the doggy park again. I should say he is the preferred customer of them.
Anyway, his first priority is FOOD.
いつものドッグランに行きました。もう殆ど常連ですね。まあとにかく、まずはお食事。テリー君の最優先事項ですから。
