The Leap Day of a Leap Year 2012

February 29, Wednesday was the leap day of a leap year. We all know it is unusual. Then we had very unusual thing on that day this year.
In Tokyo winter, wen don't have much snow but this year on this day.....
It snowed soooo much! (over 10 centimeters of snow in half a day)
It may not so much if you live in snow area though. It IS a big thing in Tokyo.
閏年の閏日、２月２９日は珍しい日であることは周知の事実です。でも今年は本当に異常な年でした。
通常、東京の冬は あまり雪が降りません。でも今年は・・・
そりゃあもう、た～～～いへん!!(半日の間に１０センチ以上積もったんです)
雪国からしたら何でもない事でしょうが、東京では一大事なのです。
